What is Groupy?

Groupy is a shared calendar app for iPhone. You create a group for each circle in your life, like your family, your kid's team, your friends or your band, and everyone in the group sees the same events in one place instead of digging through group texts.

How is Groupy different from a shared iPhone or Google calendar?

A shared calendar works when everyone uses the same calendar app and you add people one at a time. Groupy is built around groups: people join with a link, QR code or group code, admins choose who can post, and members tap Going, Maybe or Can't go so you can see the headcount. You can still add Groupy events to your iPhone Calendar, or subscribe so they sync automatically.

Can I control who adds events to the group?

Yes. Group admins choose whether everyone can add events, only admins, or a chosen few, and they can change the setting anytime. That works well for a coach posting the season schedule or a band posting show dates.

How do people join my group?

Share the group's link or QR code, pick people from your contacts, or give them the group code to type in. For a private group, an admin approves new members before they can see events.

Can fans follow my band's or my show dates?

Yes. Make the group public so fans can find it by name, or join from its link or QR code. Fans can add your shows to their iPhone Calendar.

Is Groupy available on Android?

Not yet. Groupy is iPhone only for now.

How do I get Groupy?

Groupy is in public beta on iPhone. Tap Join the beta and the link opens Apple's TestFlight app, where you install it. Groupy is for ages 13 and up.
