Groupy keeps one shared calendar for each of your groups. These guides cover the three things everyone does first: get into a group, bring your people in, and put something on the calendar.

Quick answers
Does Groupy cost anything?
Joining a group is free. Creating and managing a group will need a paid subscription for the group's admin once paid plans launch. Until then, everything in Groupy is free. Groupy doesn't show ads.
Who can see my events?
Only the members of the groups you post an event to. Private groups can't be found by search. See the privacy policy for the details.
How do I RSVP to an event?
Open the event and tap Going, Maybe or Can't go. If you're going, use Bringing anyone? to add the people coming with you. Everyone in the group can see your reply, unless the person who posted the event keeps replies private; either way, they get a notification. If you posted it, you're the host and already counted as going. See Add events for more.
Will Groupy remind me about events?
Yes. You get a notification before each event in your groups, unless you've replied Can't go: 1 hour before, or at 8 AM on the day of an all-day event, unless you pick another time in your profile under Event reminders (15 or 30 minutes, 2 hours, or the night before). You also hear when an event you can see moves, changes place or is cancelled. Groupy asks about notifications from a card on Home once you're in a group. To turn reminders off, tap your photo or initial at the top right of any main screen to open your profile, then switch off Event reminders. To stop all notifications from Groupy, use iPhone Settings.
How do I change my name or photo?
Tap your photo or initial at the top right of any main screen to open your profile. Tap the pencil next to your name to change it, or tap your photo to choose a new one. Everyone in your groups sees the new name right away.
How do I leave a group?
Open the group from the Groups tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Leave group, then tap again to confirm. If you're the group's only admin, the member who has been there longest becomes admin. If you're the last member, the group is deleted.
How do I delete my account?
Tap your photo or initial at the top right of any main screen to open your profile, then choose Delete my account. It takes effect right away.
I didn't get my sign-up or reset code.
Codes come from hello@groupycalendar.com and arrive within a minute. Check your spam or junk folder, then tap Didn't get it? Send a new code on the code screen. If it still doesn't come, contact us.
